mORK — Mobile ORK

Character summaries and one-tap event sign-in for the players and Chancellors of Amtgard.

For players

mORK gives you a summary of your character, and lets you upload a new ORK photo of yourself without going and finding a computer. When it's time to sign in, you show your Chancellor a QR code of your account and you're done.

For Chancellors

Signing in a park day is the part nobody wants to be slow. mORK gives you three ways to do it: search for the character name, scan the QR code from a player's own mORK app, or scan an NFC tag. Typical NFC tags look like a plastic employee card or a small key-fob-sized disc, and mORK will write a player's unique profile to one for you — so regulars can just tap and go.

Good to know

mORK talks directly to the Amtgard ORK, so it needs a data or wifi connection in order to function. There's no offline mode; the whole point is that it's the live ORK in your pocket.
